    A lot of customers are still looking for an easy way to visualize data from SAP BW. SAP is pushing Hana and lumera very hard, with a bw connecter we can push a little bit back

    i like the connector a lot but recently noticed the data flowing through is rounded (and with that wrong). decimals do not seem to be picked up. Any solution for this? Without it the connector is useless (as showing incorrect data)

    I work for a company that has a simple way to access SAP data from the source. in addition, all existing security is carried over.

    SAP BW has seen ECC data extracted and which has gone thru many stages, and in all cases is often stale. The Simplement Data Liberator provides real-time access, and places the data right into SQL Server, ready for Power BI.

    Connector for SAP BW. I work for a company with more than 100,000 employees and we need a better SAP BW connector. We need to be able to bring keys, refresh, etc.The connector is also bringing test tables instead of the regular ones.

    we can load data from SAP BW to PBI. However, when we setup a connection to try to schedule a refresh through our gateway, we get the following failure message

    SAP Business Warehouse: Error while receiving function return values: FU_NOT_FOUND
    Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.ErrorCode-2147467259
    Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.ReasonDataSource.Error

    does anyone have a solution for this?

    We are trying out Power BI Desktop on SAP BW, but are having performance issues (it's not usable).

    First of all the preview is not working - it never returns data.

    Then when we try to get data it is painfully slow. A few thousand rows in maybe 20 to 30 minutes.

    We tried to get data from an InfoCube but also from DSO.

    What are your experience with performance?

    Do you have any input regarding tuning?

    It doesn't work (RFCOpenConnection Failure. The "Name and Password" not correct is misleading, because the message is displayed irrespective of the Name and password being correct.

    RFCOpenConnection Failure: Name or Password incorrect (repeat logon)

    I talked to their Microsoft support, they said this issue is on their backlog right now. However, the more you vote, the quicker they will respond.
