Can PowerBI Map visualizations show "routing"?
For example, a record has "From" and "To" address info (either street address or lat/long). The Map visual would show a "line" linking the two locations. Like an airline route map. The thickness of the line could be volume/expression related.
Could be used for logistics route map visualizations.

RE: Power BI Map Routing
My company would derive a huge amount of benefit from a feature like this. It will allow us to see, at a glance, where our products are routed with a view to simplifying and capturing efficiencies and reducing overlap. Almost any company that transports products can benefit from such a visual. I have attempted to use the custom Flow Map provided by Weiwei Cui but have found it grinds to a halt when entering GPS co-ordinates even on a small (less than 100 rows) dataset.

Great idea! This is needed.

This idea is very important for supply chain visualizations, showing the paths for sourcing.
If you wanted to enhance the idea, you could allow the functionality to be displayed on a custom picture uploaded by the user. Then instead of just maps it could be material flow through a warehouse or factory with coordinates to represent locations. Same concept
RE: Power BI Map Routing
This feature/add-on is valuable info to have in supply chain for better operations planning.
RE: Power BI Map Routing
Can't believe this isn't already there...would be super useful
RE: Power BI Map Routing
Would love to see this :)
RE: Power BI Map Routing
This would be a great add
RE: Power BI Map Routing
totally needed
RE: Power BI Map Routing
Given the popularity of network analysis (particular for Supply Chain Distribution Network), the feature will be very helpful for visualizing the results

Would love to have this added
