It’s challenging and time-consuming for both new and experienced report creators to organize data when trying to split cards into categories. By introducing small multiples, it could be a familiar and easy way for report creators to intuitively categorize data, especially if they had more control over layout and formatting.

RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
Multi Card is useful. but it would be great as a header or footer format so you can add a dynamic list across the top or bottom of the report to create a useful narrative to a summary of the story that is being told by the report itself.
RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
Multirow card is a great idea but I never use it because of the lack of formatting options!
Usually I just want this ...
Category1 Value1
Category2 Value2
Category3 Value3
But I'm forced to use this ...
Value1
Category1
Value2
Category2
Value3
Category3
There should be a simple option for category labels topt/bottom/left/right
To get around this at the moment I have to massage the data into a table then use the table visual ... that's a lot of work for a simple formatting exercise.
RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
I agree! Also a text wrapping and conditional fornating in colour bar would be helpful in multi row cards!
There is a big potential of this widget...
RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
Strongly agree
RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
Have to agree on the idea. Especially the orientation of records. That really comes in handy when creating a report on a live connection, where there is no possibility to pivot/unpivot columns in query editor.
RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
Especially need to be able to put the categories either above or below the values.
RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
Allow to act it as a slicer.
RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
Please, allow to act as a slicer!!!

The multi-row card option looks good and presents data nicely, but without the functionality available in other chart types I cannot use this feature to represent my data, as other users have stated the following features would be useful:
RE: Epic idea: Small multiples for cards
'Absolutely this idea needs more votes and expanding. The multicard visual is a great idea but too lacking for most situations.
- Ability to be able to set number of columns and rows of a card.
- Conditional formatting for each value on the card.
- Allow the card to be clicked to filter the rest of the visuals or drill through to a new page
- Allow hyperlinks on the card.
- Allow the left bar on the card to be conditionally formatted (colour, thickness etc)
With these kind of changes the card would be a more attractive contender to the table visual for times when you have less records but more info per record as it is primarily a multi line row.
