I'm trying to combine two simple oData-feed from two different CRM-organisations with the "Table.Combine". It works with datasets from a single source, it works from two sources in Power BI Desktop, but i fails on app.powerbi.com.
The error I get is "Information is needed in order to combine data". This is really essential for us if we can use Power BI.

I started getting this error on reports that have been working for a while now. I am not sure if it involves
"The November release of Power BI Desktop may fail to authenticate to ADLSv1 subfolders using OAuth. If you experience this, you can install the October release of PowerBI Desktop as a workaround. Alternatively, you can also update the credential used in the connection to ensure it anchors to the full URL used for the ADLS subfolder. Engineers are working on a fix which will be included in the December release of Power BI Desktop. "
But I cannot find that October release to validate it fixed the issue.

Same issue as everyone here, merging tables from 3 different databases (same SQL server).
Refresh works fine in desktop but not on the service.
Same "underlying error message" every time
Different "underlying error code" at each failed refresh (this obviously is giving the name of the table where the error occurred but I have 4 tables that are from merged data).

I'm still showing this error even though I have all my sources on one sql server and the privacy levels are set to ignore.
These error codes can really be tricky

I'm trying to make this work in Analysis Services from a tabular model created in Visual Studio and getting the same error. I'm combining data from two different SQL Servers. Refresh works fine in Visual Studio, but I get the error when I trigger a Process Full.
Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'OLE DB or ODBC error: Information is needed in order to combine data.

Not working for me, issue started since I appended an SQL query to an Excel source. Manual refresh via PBI Desktop works, Refreshing from Service via Gateway doesn't work.
Extra nice touch: In the "Refresh history" in the Service, all refreshes show up as "failed", even the ones from Desktop that actually did not fail.

still not working for me, all other settings within Gateway etc are identical and correct. All versions are up to date. Anybody know of a fix?
