One of the most used features in other tools in this space (including Proclarity/PerformancePoint) that users LOVE is the ability to hover over a visualization and choose to View Details. A window then pops up that allows them to see the underlying details with an export details to Excel option.

RE: Chart View Details with Export to Excel
I don't care as much at this point about the export the underlying details option, as I would like to be able to export entire reports or dashboards to Excel or PDF so I can share them with external clients.
RE: Chart View Details with Export to Excel
Without Excel export Power BI is pretty useless and we have to go for Tableau instead
RE: Chart View Details with Export to Excel
My managers urgently need me to be able to export data from the Power BI dashboards and reports I've created so far... :(

Please add. The ability to export data from a tabular view in PowerBI is super important.

Hi dear community,
It's true that we all faced that situation where your data is stuck in PBI, for me it'll be soooooooooo GREAT to add the feature of exporting the tables (EVEN if it's only to PLAIN text file). once a table is too heavy, clipboard can't handle it. please please consider adding this feature. thanks in advance
RE: Chart View Details with Export to Excel
Not having this is a big turn down for our customers. I hope MS adds Excel export in the near future.
RE: Chart View Details with Export to Excel
Yes - the users that are very experimented with other tools - are very addicted to this function. Please add it :D
RE: Chart View Details with Export to Excel
I was amazed by Power BIs usability and visualization power (despite a few bugs). I really liked it and promoted it in the company. HOWEVER, THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING. please MS, PLEASE, add the export function
