Power BI
Needs VotesSupport switching SSAS connect model from "Connect Live" to "Import"

Once a report is created with an SSAS source using Connect Live, the mode cannot currently be switched to Import. This is frustrating if we have a report that we decide we want to publish to the web.

This would be very useful!
RE: Support switching SSAS connect model from "Connect Live" to "Import"
Need this feature so badly. I have a live connection to a Power BI data set which I need to remove and change it to import or even enter data manually. I think this should be available from very beginning as a standard feature.

This is an important feature. Because now i have a live connection to MS Cube environment and I wanted to document all measures with external tools but those tools cannot connect to PBI desktop because it has a live connection to cloud.

This feature is needed because once it is created it does not allow the flexibility to modify the queries and add DAX logic.
RE: Support switching SSAS connect model from "Connect Live" to "Import"
This would also be very helpful for maintaining report templates:
- need to be based on Live connected reports
- but also require showing some data (need to use Import)

critical to be able to switch to import in order to allow some of the forecasting / predictive scenarios.
