RE: SharePoint/Office 365 List Data Source

Is SharePoint list connection live, i.e. under Power BI Pro license?

I'm also seeing the ParticipantPickerID error when I try to connect to a SharePoint calendar list. How will I know if this issue is being worked on and when it will be fixed?

I'll add my voice to confirm that the issue doesn't seem to be resolved. I am also seeing an endless load message and MB piling up. There's also a known issue with the Id column that is still there.

As a workaround, I was able to query the list content via the REST OData entry point.

RE: SharePoint/Office 365 List Data Source

A query with expanded lookup values and user profile values takes too much time to load. Unable to continue work as i see "Apply Query Changes" screen since past 2 hours and it has just loaded 10 MB of data :(

The issue has not been resolved. As soon as you connect to a list with a People field that is not populated with a value, then you get the null error. I just tried this using the latest version. Only API version 14 in query seems to work.

RE: SharePoint/Office 365 List Data Source

I still get the error:
DataSource.Error: We couldn't parse OData response result. Error: A null value was found for the property named 'ParticipantsPickerId'
Please, please, please fix this.

RE: SharePoint/Office 365 List Data Source

I agree. This is still a BUG in the software with the latest release of Power BI. REST Endpoints are not supported resulting with the error message posted by others below. The Beta worked fine. So something changed before the final release. As a work around, we have been using the legacy ListData.svc end point. This needs to be fixed before this issue/request can be closed.

RE: SharePoint/Office 365 List Data Source

I still cant get it to work, i get this error: DataSource.Error: We couldn't parse OData response result. Error: A null value was found for the property named 'SharedWithUsersId', which has the expected type 'Collection(Edm.Int32)[Nullable=False]'. The expected type 'Collection(Edm.Int32)[Nullable=False]' does not allow null values.
