RE: VBA for Power BI Desktop

Qlik and Tableau have had extensive UI programming for years, why can't PBi? Integrating VBA would completely blow away all competitors in an instant.

RE: VBA for Power BI Desktop

Can't agree more with the comment saying that VBA for Power BI is highly needed. Are there any plans in Microsoft for adding VBA to Power BI?

RE: VBA for Power BI Desktop

agree with vba integration ... as well as native integration into MS Access since the charting functionality is severely limited

Vba programming in power bi would be of great help. It will certainly help excel users to do dynamic reports building in power bi.

RE: VBA for Power BI Desktop

VBA would be great. Trying to play Excel tricks like hiding menus with bookmarks is quite cumbersome. Need to have more ways to control the user friendliness. Watching clients sharing screen today and it simply wasn't natural for them to look for things like drill down in the heirarchy in the pop-up menus. At least in my organization they are quite used to macros working behind the scenes on events or actively with buttons.
