ElasticSearch is hybrid non relational database with plugins for SQL, joins, graph queries, with increasing popularity. There are LINQ and custom LINQ providers too. I would be good to have Elastic Search as data source for Power BI. Better web version integrated first.

Really really need this! We're and ISV that uses Power BI and Elastic both quite heavily.

This feature would be critical for my company. We've committed to ES but want to use PowerBI as well.
