    Chart View Details with Export to Excel

    One of the most used features in other tools in this space (including Proclarity/PerformancePoint) that users LOVE is the ability to hover over a visualization and choose to View Details. A window then pops up that allows them to see the underlying details with an export details to Excel option.

    Very frustrating that every data tool out there has an export to Excel except Microsoft.

    Power BI should allow to download the Dashboard as an Image, Excel and .PDF format. This gives the advantage of snapshot of your data on a particular date and time. Also, offline sharing to the end users using emails like scheduling capability.

    Like others have said, this seems like a big miss for Microsoft. Every other company supports exporting chart data and tables to excel out of the gate, except Microsoft. The tight ties to Excel is one of the big reasons Power BI was attractive in the first place.
