It's hard to convince colleagues to use Power BI in case they using linux. With a Linux version (ubuntu?) of the Power BI Desktop they would not need to install a VM or similar.

We are not considering bringing Power BI Desktop to Linux anytime soon; however, we do plan to bring more and more authoring capabilities from Power BI Desktop into the web experience.

RE: Power BI Desktop linux version
power bi is an incredibly powerful tool but what the use if it is not available to everyone its not effective that way. Linux user should be able to use power bi on there own without tricks.
RE: Power BI Desktop linux version
We need this, and we need a way to use MS products without being nickel and dimed. We have Office 365 and pay per user but we can't use powerbi unless we pay more, except the online versions of everything are crippled so we have to keep extra windows machines or dual-boot just to write a letter. Please! Let the linux users run the products we pay for!
RE: Power BI Desktop linux version
We use plenty of Linux servers and this feature would benefit us greatly
RE: Power BI Desktop linux version
Linux users should not be disallowed of the privilege that Power BI is.
