Power BI
CompletedConditional formatting (cell highligh, font, etc) when comparing multiple fields
PowerBI needs to have the ability to offer conditional formatting of based on the comparison of 2 or more metrics. For example if metric A = metric B then change the font and highlight color of the cell to red.
If metric A > metric B and metric A < metric C then change the font and highlight color of the cell to green.
This should be unlimited for how many colors can be used. Other BI tools offer this feature.
Note that this is different than what PowerBI currently calls ‘conditional formatting’

As of our May release, you can now conditionally format a column by another field. Which means you can create a column that does your comparisons and then use that to format anything in your table or matrix. If you have other suggestions for conditional formatting options, make sure to vote on those as well! https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-may-2018-feature-summary/#conditionalFormatting

RE: Conditional formatting (cell highligh, font, etc) when comparing multiple fields
This is absolutely necessary, especially since we have committed to moving to Power BI from our existing tools, where this feature/capability is supported.
RE: Conditional formatting (cell highligh, font, etc) when comparing multiple fields
Basic capability required to support visual metric reporting.

It will be great to have this feature add to the report as it is one of the limitation compare to others Business Intelligence tools. Hope to see this feature soon.
Thanks for all the improvement done in a monthly basis.
RE: Conditional formatting (cell highligh, font, etc) when comparing multiple fields
For us this is a major "show stopper" as it is a feature we use extensively in other tools such as Tableau and Business Objects.
Options should also include formatting using an image file in addition to cell highlight, font color, font size.

Would be extremely useful rather than the current metric > static value
RE: Conditional formatting (cell highligh, font, etc) when comparing multiple fields
The November 2016 version of MS Power BI supports “Conditional Formating”.
Current functionality: The cell format is based on the value of the cell.
Would like to have: The cell format is based on the value of ANOTHER cell.
With this functionality a developer can created its own calculated field and use the calculated value for formatting the cell. That gives the end-user more information than already presented in the cells.
