Connect to ArcGIS Online through ArcGIS Maps for Power BI

Add the ability to sign-in to an ArcGIS Online account to use organizational GIS. This would allow a seamless connection for Power BI users and existing ArcGIS Online accounts to bring reference maps and additional analytic capabilities forward into reports and dashboards created with Power BI.

I would love to connect to our ArcGIS online web applications weve already made and integrate them with the data viz power of Power BI.

If I can't bring in my organization's spatial data as a layer, I'm only getting part of the picture. Spatial relationships provide BI too!

Absolutely a need. Our spatial data used as reference layers make the map meaningful to our user base. I know ESRI has an interest, as we talked about it at this year's ESRI UC.

Is there a date when we can expect this functionality to be rolled out?

We cannot make our spatial data public, and if we can't display our own data in the map, then the map isn't very useful to us. This is a game changer for my organization that may determine how far we go with Power BI.

Would love this to work with Portal for ArcGIS in the same way!!
