Currently, you can only export those Power BI report where total report pages are less than or equal to 50. If a report has more than 50 pages and you try to export it (PDF/PPT) you get an error message saying:
Unable to export more than 50 pages
Your report exceeds the maximum number of pages we currently support. Please reduce the number of pages and try again.
I have a huge Power BI report (more than 50 pages) and is currently embedded in a .NET application. The team is using REST API which triggers an export request on Power BI services but it fails every time as the report exceeds the maximum page limit. We have also tried various workarounds like sending export request (via API) for a limited number of pages but none of them seems to work. The 50 pages limitation supersedes everything.
We do not want to create multiple reports (with less pages) as the different sections are interlinked and this will be a mess to maintain moving further.
I have seen multiple people facing this issue, thus raising an idea here. Please upvote to get the limitation removed.

This is a problem for our company also, we need this page limiter removed so we can export reports with more than 15 pages. Please explain!

This is a huge problem. A lot of the management who "read" these reports want a power point deck We need a much bigger limit. While you're at it, let's fix the clunky page navigation.

I too have this issue, which leaves us with excel to create visualisations from our datawarehouse, then macro's are required to be run to import to word. This is a very timely and clunky process. Increasing the export limit will enable Monthly and Quarterly reports/visualisations to be generated by mearly updating the Event date in the report level filters.
We are setup on Capacity and using Apps, as such sharing reports in this manner is far more effective that requiring the use of multiple Microsoft products to get the same result that we can get by increasing the number of pages that can be exported.
Please increase this limit or add feature that allows System Admins to adjust number of pages that can be exported by user permission.

I agree. We have multiple reports were more than 15 slides is used. I do not see the reason for the 15 pages limitation. Microsoft can you please explain the reason for this and if you have on your roadmap to increase the limit?
