Currently, you can only export those Power BI report where total report pages are less than or equal to 50. If a report has more than 50 pages and you try to export it (PDF/PPT) you get an error message saying:
Unable to export more than 50 pages
Your report exceeds the maximum number of pages we currently support. Please reduce the number of pages and try again.
I have a huge Power BI report (more than 50 pages) and is currently embedded in a .NET application. The team is using REST API which triggers an export request on Power BI services but it fails every time as the report exceeds the maximum page limit. We have also tried various workarounds like sending export request (via API) for a limited number of pages but none of them seems to work. The 50 pages limitation supersedes everything.
We do not want to create multiple reports (with less pages) as the different sections are interlinked and this will be a mess to maintain moving further.
I have seen multiple people facing this issue, thus raising an idea here. Please upvote to get the limitation removed.

The ironic thing here, is that having tried to move to new improved microsoft tech, the only solution is to export as two documents, and then write a VBA script to merge the files en masse! This is not where we should be.

This limitation is something which can be easily removed by PowerBI product team

This is an urgent and very important need as many organisational clients need comprehensive reports. Please remove the limit urgently.

Past few years the limit was 30 pages and now it's back to 15? Or it's a glitch? Anyone has more information about this?

Just got to the end of a 3 quarter project bringing in data from all over the place to automate report production... only to fail at the last hurdle of not being able to deliver a report to our external stakeholders! Come on MS - we need this limit removed urgently...
