Due to the limitations of other business applications that may not have been upgraded or can not be upgraded, many business users are forced to stay with a 32-bit Windows.
By limiting the Personal gateway to only 64-bit, it prevents the use of this feature by those that may be best argue for upgrades to other applications by using Power BI to show the metrics and other data to make the business case for being current.

Agreed. If I could work around the 32 bit issue and use 64 bit I would have done so. Software limitations on MRP dataset require 32 bit. Please add 32 bit ODBC connector.

A 32bit data gateway is definitely needed by many companies. Without it, Power BI can not be updated. Please do it, MS.

Personally, I'd be happy just to get the ability to see 32-bit ODBC connections on my 64-bit Windows machine.

This is much needed as big corporations are still on 32-bit Oracle databases

I need to link to an old 32-bit Oracle database, which is the most important data source in my company. Now I have to keep using SSRS reports.

In my organization there are only 32 bits Windows. We really need this feature, please.

Very frustrating as I need a 32bit office install and have completed migrated from Access over to SQL to help resolve the issue... all up until the point of Auto refresh and now I am back in the same issue. Needs fixing asap please.

All Pegasus Opera II, Opera 3 and Operations II (there are thousands of installations of these) software packages are currently 32 bit. It will take at least 5 to 10 years I imagine for these all to move to SQL and they need Power BI now!. They can then migrate to SQL simply and still use power BI.
