A lot of customers are still looking for an easy way to visualize data from SAP BW. SAP is pushing Hana and lumera very hard, with a bw connecter we can push a little bit back

Interested on the information about the managing variables and Hierarchy in BW. How the different types of Variables handle in Power BI. Will the analysis authorization support in future releases.

For SAP BW connector, we need Windows authentication (Credential Type as Windows) in addition to database option. This will allow us to connect to BW system without entering username/password.

Excellent if it was working. Got another error SAP Business Warehouse: An error occured when contacting the service: Select one of the installed languages. But not able select language anywhere?

I believe Mey looking into the issue and provide a good solution may be the idea move from preview to actua release.

We may not endup with errors if they already mentioned the pre-requisite to use the BW connector in preview features. There are different version in SAP BW. Does anyone succeed with connecting the SAP BW Connector

Getting the below message in 32 bit version of Power BI Desktop.
Details:"SAP Business Warehouse: An error ocured when contacting the service:Error While receiving function return values: FU_NOT_FOUND"
For 64 bit , Im getting the below message. I believe most the users are experiencing the same.
Details: "SAP Business Warehouse: An error occured when contacting the service: Cannot call classic RFC API. See help for details.
Please put a recent 64-bit version of librfc32.dll in your System32 folder (typically C:\Windows\System32).
See SAP note 413708. Please make sure you have installed Visual C++ 2005 SP1 ATL Security Update (x64)."
Please let me know if there is a fix for the above the Issues
