In a regular PivotTable we can nest axis labels e.g. we can group regional data by year. Currently PowerBI only supports one level of X axis labels.
There are loads of areas where this would be useful but one example is with the MailChimp campaign data which currently only allows you to list all the campaigns alphabetically. I want to group/sort by date. My only option is to use Slicers to filter out periods I don't want, but that doesn't really help me see them in date order.

You can nest x-axis labels in column charts! You can read more about the feature here: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-november-feature-summary/#hierarchicalAxis

RE: Nested X Axis Labels
This is critical feature and we need it. Multiple fields for x-axis and y-axis
RE: Nested X Axis Labels
Please prioritize this. My users do not want to drill. For example, the want to see all the branches grouped by district not drill into one district to see the branches
RE: Nested X Axis Labels
Only feature preventing us moving forward with PowerBI as our full time reporting tool.
RE: Nested X Axis Labels
please we need nested axis and a better drill down and drill up.
RE: Nested X Axis Labels
The only reason I cannot start to make my reports with Power BI is that I cannot nest axis. I believe it would be a wonderful improvement.
RE: Nested X Axis Labels
Yes, please! This is critical to my work, and at the moment I couldn't even consider Power BI because something as critical as this is missing.
RE: Nested X Axis Labels
I have been looking for this functionality everywhere! If it is available in Excel, why not PowerBI?
RE: Nested X Axis Labels
Would love this as well. I'm using a stacked horizontal bar-chart, but I would like to "group" the x-axis variables based on another field. So it groups users by team for example. Now Í have to create a visual for every team seperately and have them filter only the users of a specific team.
