The March 2018 update introduced visual header control at the report level.
Since this is currently an 'all-or-nothing' feature, please evolve this so we can control visual headers on a per visual basis.

We completed this as part of our July release! If you haven't use the new header yet, make sure to turn it on for your existing reports and try out all the new features. You can also read about it in our July blog post: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-july-2018-feature-summary/#visualHeader

Fantastic. Would also be great if we can select which icon to display. I know that you can hide 'pin icon' but you can't add the 'export data icon'.
RE: Allow visual header control per visual
When will this be extended to the iOS app? Reports with many close / visuals are particularly unusable when the visuals - disabled in PBI desktop - are not also disabled in the app. Please extend ASAP - we can't roll anything out to any iOS users until this is implemented.
RE: Allow visual header control per visual
Nice, COMPLETED of 'Allow visual header control per visual', thank you 😄
RE: Allow visual header control per visual
Please include header controls in the desktop version. A base level feature of a visual reporting software should be the capability to extend shapes and text boxes to the edge of the frame without resorting to using a background image. Thanks.
RE: Allow visual header control per visual
Is it possible to import a JSON theme so that the Title is returned in a specific font, size, and color... I was able to accomplish this with my legend easily, but I cannot find title manipulation in the documentation

Being able to prevent change in drill-level on a per-visual basis would be great. There are some places where we are using the matrix visual where it doesn't make sense to be able drill up or down - but we use a matrix to show the hierarchy that is present.
Maybe this is more of a feature on the matrix visual itself however.
RE: Allow visual header control per visual
There are some "visuals" which don't need a visual header at all. Lines, shapes and text boxes as an example.
RE: Allow visual header control per visual
very necessary
RE: Allow visual header control per visual
Hi Amanda,
Is there a way to hide the visual header and add an export option to the buttons? Hiding the visual makes the report look very professional. At the same time, ellipses are not very intuitive, button would be very useful for exporting data from a visual.

This is helpful!
