    Print and Export Embedded Reports through REST APIs

    Now that we have a great embed report/tile feature that can be used to embed reports/tiles in custom apps, it would be great to have some REST APIs that can facilitate printing and download of the reports into either PDF/Excel etc.

    You can call the REST API to generate a PDF or PNG of the report and print that: Export Power BI reports to PDF, PPTX, or PNG files using REST API | Azure updates | Microsoft Azure

    Seriously. Microsoft. The rest of the world lives by REST API's. Lets get on with the show and get away from emailing static documents (which are already outdated as soon as they are saved).
    Saving a PDF of a report is akin to taking a photo of your speedometer!!... it doesn't matter how fast we were going 10 mins ago... it matters how fast we're going RIGHT NOW.

    Any updates? We embedded several reports in our department website and everyone asks me if we can have this feature.

    Really wish this was available. PBRS and Powerbi Robots are currently the only option I can see that can do something similar. PBRS offers a full feature set that you could make work but the price tag is undesirable.

    Well, currently halfway through 2019 and still no delivery on a feature planned for late 2016. Any updates on this?

    Yes this is very required feature and it is a showstopper for our business.
