It was implemented in charts but not in tables or matrixes.

We released conditional formatting in tables with our May release of Power BI Desktop. Give it a try and let us know what you think. You can learn more about how to use it in our latest blog post: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-may-update-feature-summary/.

RE: conditional formatting in tables

We desperately need the ability to add ranges to the formatting. Example 1-99 Green, 100-199, Blue 200-299 Gold - 300 + Red

In Excel we can go well beyond 3 levels that the current conditional formatting supports. We need at least 5 levels!

RE: conditional formatting in tables

Agree with previous. Add to Matrix. I also miss absolute values like if above 0 green, else red etc.

RE: conditional formatting in tables

Urgent to have conditional formatting and sorting in matrixes and not only tables. You have any walk around?

RE: conditional formatting in tables

awesome. :-) It looks like conditional formatting can't be applied to date fields. Is there a way around this? Or will this be added at some point?

RE: conditional formatting in tables

Looks like conditional formatting only works on Measures. Would be nice if would work on normal fields too

RE: conditional formatting in tables

This seems like a partial completion. We would like to be able to have more flexibility with conditional formatting. ie, if a value in one column is greater than a value in a different column in the same row, highlight it Green. Basically, anything we can do with conditional formatting in Excel would be great to have in Power BI.

RE: conditional formatting in tables

Is there another thread to Vote Up Conditional Formatting on a Matrix and also I would want Conditional Formatting that I could base the Current Column or Measure On.
