Power BI
CompletedDrill-down should drill or cross-filter other visualizations on the page

I have a report page with multiple charts and visualizations. Let's say one of the chart shows Sales by Year and I drill down into 2013 to see the sales by month in 2013. Currently, the drill-down has no effect on the other charts and visualizations on the page; they still show data for all years, not just for 2013. Instead, I'd like other charts to drill down into 2013 or filter by 2013 as well.

Well this is exciting! We've just shipped the December release of Power BI Desktop, and I'm very pleased to say we've added the ability to apply filters from a visual when you drill into it. This is now the default for any new visuals; you can turn it on for existing visuals (or disable it if you don't want it) through the Format tab. Look for "Drilling filters other visuals". Hope you like it! thanks!

This is really a MUST! Other softwares like Qlik Sense and Tableau have it as the default behavior. But this great idea is open since November 2014. Microsoft: are 1585 votes (as of June 7th 2016) not enough for you to move it from "under review" to "planned"?

This also needs some feedback to the user of what has been drilled/selected...

'When using a report with a primary visual and several related visuals, the ability to show data in multiple ways would be very useful. For example:
- Visuals with a common axis could be drilled-down simultaneously
- Visuals for representing data could be adjusted to match the data currently on display, rather than data previously displayed
This would be possible by having the drill-down add a page-level filter in addition to the visual-level one.

At least give the option to filter to other charts.

Please fix this, it is really important and workable!.. Thanks,

Please fix this issue. Right we are not able to use the drill down because the other visuals are on the page are not filtering. Many thanks !

This is really a MUST in PowerBI. In fact PowerView in Excel allows this type of interactions.
I wonder, why being PowerBI its replacement, this hasn't been considered?
Just to place an example from a real situation I had to face with PowerBI. In a sales report, where a bar graph shows the sales per commercial, another two graphs are created to go with, showing the sales per country and sales per category. The expected behaviour should be when you drill drown in a certain commercial to see, for instance, their products sold, the other two graphs should be updated showing the sales per country and sales per category just for that commercial guy.
Of course two visualization are needed, this is updating and not updating graphs, but it should be something to configure by using "interactions tool".

Please have a read at this http://sqljason.com/2015/09/my-thoughts-on-cross-filtering-in-power.html . This is exactly what end user wants and please make it a priority.
