KPI Red/Yellow/Green Indicators were available in Power Pivot. With the new Power BI Desktop this feature is not available anymore. If you import from PP to the Desktop it converts the RYG Indicator Dots to a number. Will the Red/Yellow/Green Indicators be added back to PowerBI Desktop? If so When?

It's very exciting to be able to close this idea! With the July 2019 release of Power BI Desktop you can now create icon sets that show status indicators, in fact a whole range of icons, in your table and matrix visuals. You can read more in Amanda's blog post here: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-july-2019-feature-summary/#iconSets For those of you who want to have the KPI definition stored in the model itself, please vote on this idea for us to track interest there: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200/suggestions/38181139 Thanks for engaging with the ideas forum and helping us build the product you need!

Very important feature which Microsoft is not adding it even though this idea was posted in October 2014, almost 10 months ago!!

Will Thompson.....Don't you think this should be on the top most priority list?

Trending KPIs would be great, not only the traffic lights like we have in Power Pivot for Excel but the ability to have increasing or decreasing arrows.

Calculated fields are not working in Power BI Desktop.

I never knew this existed. Top management reporting must consist of 1-2 stop light indicators, everything else is optional. +3

Any report with a red/yellow/green stoplight indicator is significantly better than a report without one.

Hi Bjoern, the KPI I'm referring to is the functionality of what PowerPivot has.

PowerPivot / Tabular KPIs should be a key feature. Not to mention being visible in a table as well as showing up on dashboard. For that matter conditional color formatting.

Not having KPIs in PowerBI 2.0 is really an issue. Is there BI without KPIs?
