is it possible to add support for "duration" data type in the report view as in Power Query?

RE: field of "duration" type
When is this going to happen, Microsoft? You've added it to the Query Editor but not the report field?
RE: field of "duration" type
A duration data type is badly needed and seems a basic need. I keep running into this. Please fix.
RE: field of "duration" type
honestly embarrassing that this even needs to be an "idea" esp. when the data type's already in Query Editor, PBI for some asinine reasons just decide to ditch the format when it comes to actual making the dashboard
RE: field of "duration" type
There is duration format only on Query Editor, not in Report Editor.
The thing is that you can put duration format as hh:mm:ss on Query Editor but it transforms to an integer in seconds on Report Editor.
When you work with Service Desk or Call/Contact Center data it is really necessary to work with duration format.
It will be also neccesary to work with these durations on Y Axis in the graphics.
RE: field of "duration" type
Please add duration not just in query editor but in the model itself. Looking to show average session duration! Thanks
RE: field of "duration" type
It is frustrating to discover such incaps on PBI, fix ASAP.
RE: field of "duration" type
Please add this to allow Y-axis charting. Many departments that rely on time based reporting such as Average Handle Time, wrap, breaks etc. Could benefit internally from this.
RE: field of "duration" type
add some credibility pluh- eze
RE: field of "duration" type
Please add Data type: Duration
RE: field of "duration" type
WHAT. Here I am bashing my head against a wall thinking I'm doing something wrong... nope... Power BI is just really backwards and doesn't have a simple data type like Duration, so I can't easily visualise call durations in our call report... maybe I should've just built this in Excel!
