Thanks

We've added support for conditional formatting on the matrix visual in the November release of Power BI Desktop. To learn more, check out our blog post: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-november-feature-summary/

RE: conditional formatting in matrix
As a recent switcher from tableau I'm finding BI's inability to do some pretty basic stuff pretty frustrating...

RE: conditional formatting in matrix
yep i agree - silly that this isnt already a thing!
RE: conditional formatting in matrix
Could you please add conditional formatting on non measures? There is no possibility to make conditional format like if then else.
Ex. i have a dashboard monitor over SQL job agent. I want to conditional format if success then green if failure then red else yellow..
RE: conditional formatting in matrix
I have same requirement, We need conditional color formatting based on two fields(Start Date and End Date columns) but to be applied on entire ROW in table. If the difference between Start date and End date more than 1 days, entire the ROW should display in red color else should display ROW in white background color.
RE: conditional formatting in matrix
Thanks,
One more suggestions / ask for the matrix and table visual is to allow them to act as filters, similar to what for example a tree map does.
It will be great to see a matrix visual with conditional formatting that can also act as a 2-D filter. E.g. when you select a cell, the category for the row and column in other charts are cross filtered as well.
