    Passing Parameters to Power BI through Stored Procedure

    There Should be Provision of passing the Parameter to the report like we do in SSRS Reports. There should be any method to execute Stored Procedure by passing the Parameters

    I am surprised this is not available - quickly hit the limits of what power BI can do against large record sets and considering migrating dashboards to SSRS.

    This is absolutely needed. With the increasing amount of data in the databases, we need to be able to filter data at the source dynamically. You build one stored procedure, one report, and pass dynamic parameters through URL to get what you want. It's so simple, it should have been there from the start.

    And please allow parameter types other than Text to work in the Query editor, it is very frustrating that the queries fail when you try to pass a date or INT value, the only solution currently is to rewrite the SPs...

    this is badly needed as power bi we should be moving forward and not back wards.. hi dev team i know you guys try to bring features every month. not sure why this critical basic requirement is still not in power BI as this has been raised since 2015!! in this forum ..

    Also multiple result set to return from SP to handle via power bi .. SSRS legacy has all this but not in power BI!!.. dev team could you seriously look into this.

    This is badly needed for handling reports with large volumes of data. I've had to decrease report efficiency just to use Power BI.
