for scatter plots, conditional formatting, and line plots, enable data viz to have a legend that is a color scale gradient
for example,
1) in scatter plot using saturation, we should have a legend that indicates what the darker and lighter colors represent
2) same goes for conditional formatting in tables and matrices
3) line charts without a field in the "legend" bucket (i.e. line charts represented by a single line) should be eligible for a line graph that has its color change according to a gradient as the value increases or decreases (e.g. a line graph that plots a growth rate could have green as positive growth and red as negative growth)
What's key here is that the legend shows the gradient, which means the max, min, and perhaps a few other points (e.g. middle) would be called out with their numeric value in the legend.

RE: color scale legend
Sometimes I'm really shocked by how many absolutely basic features have not yet been implemented by the devs.
RE: color scale legend
Yes, the colour gradient as a legend with dynamic min/max for shape maps (and anything else) should be included. Please Microsoft.
RE: color scale legend
I would also like to add that this Gradient Legend addition be able to be used for custom Shape Maps visual as well
RE: color scale legend
Here we go, yet again another simple intuitive feature missing from Power BI. Yes, Microsoft, we need basic functionality.
RE: color scale legend
Color saturation needs to be available for the legend feature.
RE: color scale legend
Having a colour saturation legend for the shape map would be extremely helpful
RE: color scale legend
Not having a legend for color saturation makes it very difficult to determine what the colors mean unless you click on the data point. Makes things very clunky
RE: color scale legend
Please add this. It's quite disappointing that a visualization software as big as power bi does not have this.
RE: color scale legend
Please add this, as this is an essential requirement for properly labeling the data visualization.
RE: color scale legend
Color Saturation Legend is required for all visualizaiton
