Sharepoint does not know how to handle .pbix files. Should be able to check out / open.

RE: Sharepoint file handling .pbix
I'm working with a client who desperately requires this feature - Users are currently circumventing SharePoint Online's web interface and syncing document libraries to their machine to make this work, which is a practice we do not want to promote.Users should be able to open PBIX files directly from their browser like any other Microsoft Office File.Either the file should open directly in PowerBI Desktop, or via PowerBI Web - The ability to choose between either would be ideal.Thank you!
RE: Sharepoint file handling .pbix
If Microsoft is pushing SharePoint as the basis for its version control/pipelines, which it is (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/deployment-pipelines-best-practices), it really needs to ensure the whole process works from a developer's perspective - a SharePoint integration is absolutely required for this
RE: Sharepoint file handling .pbix
We have no place to store files centrally apart from on Sharepoint and they need to be editable by more than one person. Downloading a copy and then reuploading it is just not fit for purpose.
RE: Sharepoint file handling .pbix
This feature is heavily required. Having to download the file bevore opening it is just not up to date and unacceptable.
RE: Sharepoint file handling .pbix
We need this feature! You should be able to open a Power BI file from Sharepoint.
RE: Sharepoint file handling .pbix
It is a must have in the M365 ecosystem to be able to open pbix/pbit files directly from SPO.
RE: Sharepoint file handling .pbix
Please add this feature. I'm constantly getting intermittent problems opening SharePoint .pbix files and it's a real hindrance to the usefulness of Power BI.
RE: Sharepoint file handling .pbix
Please please please!
This is needed for multiple reasons, including:
* Sharing and transferability between team members (what if I'm hit by a bus, and hadn't manually uploaded it to SharePoint/Teams yet?).
* Version history.
* Simply good practice in this digital day and age (all team work is stored in SharePoint/Teams for better, connected working from any device, anywhere, not hidden on an individual's device).
RE: Sharepoint file handling .pbix
Please enable files to be opened directly from SharePoint using Power BI. This is possible for Word / Excel, however not possible for Power BI - and can get quite confusing for users.
Thank you.
RE: Sharepoint file handling .pbix
Please make connection: power BI and Teams or connection Power BI and sharepoint so we can open power BI or even better refresh it or preview it without loading to computer first.
now this .pbix file is not helping so much.
