This would be especially good if you can refresh the data as it's entered into the SharePoint list. Then we'll need to get rid of the 5K item limit and we're set. End to end data entry, storage, reporting solution.

SharePoint list is one of the best to simulate how PowerBI really works.

I would have thought that this has received enough votes to qualify it for implementation. Given it sits at 6th highest on the votes totals I would have thought it is time to move it from Under Review to Planned.

SharePoint Lists are critical for my organization, we store most of our operational data in Lists.

I agree, the ability to connect directly to a SharePoint list and visualise data as it is added or changed is exactly the functionality we need.

I agree that SharePoint 365 could contain some vital data that also needs to be represented in Power BI Reports
