    PowerPoint Export to take into account filters that have been applied to the report prior to export. This is essential for users which need to filter on historic dates and then wish to export the report with those details.

    My organization mostly uses Apps. Once this bug is fixed it will make Power BI an essential tool for us.

    We've got lots of reports to be generated with this function for 300+ users, it'll help a lot to increase the efficiency for both report developer and user, really need it being available ASAP.

    Is it correct understanding that The new features which are in progress, will take care of the below:

    "In-session interactivity such as highlighting and filtering, drill-down, and so on, are not yet supported when exporting to PowerPoint. The exported PowerPoint shows the original visuals as they were saved in the report. If you've applied filters and slicers and want this preserved in the export, save the report and then do the export."
