This idea has come about from the introduction of personal bookmarks in the PBI Service: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/announcing-personal-bookmarks-in-the-power-bi-service/
Many report creators use bookmarks as a dynamic way of showing/hiding visuals, or navigating between tabs. Exposing an end user to these bookmarks could be confusing for them and expose the underlying workings of the report.
Personal bookmarks are great, but an option in PBI Desktop to expose certain bookmarks in the PBI Service would satisfy both report creators and consumers.

100% need this feature!
RE: Control which bookmarks are viewable in the service
I could really do with having this feature - got lots of stuff published in Teams Channels & don't want users clicking through the bookmarks
RE: Control which bookmarks are viewable in the service
Please add this feature. End users must not use certain bookmarks since they are used to change info on a page.
RE: Control which bookmarks are viewable in the service
This feature is limiting cross-departmental collaboration. Some information is sensitive and should not be able to be accessed.

This one is a clear example where Value>>Votes. If you”re a data scientist rather than an app designer, perhaps you don’t care. But it is vital for app design. Please just do it.

Add it.
RE: Control which bookmarks are viewable in the service
Please add this feature. The bookmark navigation is nice, but it proves incredibly limited if I can't hide bookmarks.
RE: Control which bookmarks are viewable in the service
I can not believe this idea is still avtive. This is a problem that should have been solved from the beginning. Very confusing for our customers. Please solve this ASAP.
RE: Control which bookmarks are viewable in the service
Please add asap this is very confusing for users who can currently see all the developer bookmarks that are for showing/hiding visuals etc.

I'm new to PowerBI. I can not believe that this feature is not already part of the system. Guys in a Cube and all these Microsoft Gurus are promoting all fancy "engaging apps" with lots of buttons that all require tons of bookmarks and then it is not possible to hide these "technical bookmarks" from end users who get confused. If you don't want to show/hide, please at least allow some grouping / folder structure of bookmarks. Then we can at least park all these technical bookmarks in a separate folder.
