It would be a good thing that a moderator groups some ideas. When looking for ideas I see very often multiple ideas saying a bit the same thing. I know, all due to users not searching good and starting all their own idea.
But this makes the votes for some good enhancements to low. Quite some people have the same idea is a good sign that their is a need, but all these votes get spread .. And that is not good.

In this "IDEAS" space, there are many ideas that are functionally duplicates. It would be good if we can vote to/ suggest that these be combined.
When combined they should not lose their existing votes. I realise this is a bit of moderator overhead - but would be really worthwhile.

Make a repository somewhere where a user can find their ideas.

Totally agree... So many of the same ideas. Some users (like myself) have started to try to link them together by commenting on related ideas, pointing the ideas with less votes to the largest...
Please fix the site to have a better way to sort on creation date, and clean up all the duplicate ideas! Seriously, hire a dedicated person to "combine" ideas and combine unique votes all into one.

I think the main gripe here is that there are multiple ideas posted that are duplicates of one another. If they remain separated, they will not reach the top of the list. Some overlap with different categories too so I am not sure they can be easily found when using the list off to the right.

Agree!! This would definitely help MS as well, as duplicate ideas would be consolidated, making it easier to identify the most popular requests.

The Power BI Ideas site is useless until you don't add a basic feature of sorting of ideas by number of votes and creation date! First take care about the tool we can use to prodive you our feedback, and then perhaps you will hear the real voice of Power BI community. And I guarantee, you will be able to work on the new features with twice that pace (after you get rid of duplicated ideas).

I find the idea forum is loaded with duplicates of ideas where votes and comments are split between multiple threads.
It would be useful if the community could propose a merger with other ideas on the forum (with the link) and then admins could merge the ideas and remove the duplicates.
I think this would make it easier for Microsoft to gain a clearer idea of what users want. And for users would help their ideas to gain a common thread of conversation, plus gain a stronger voice for the ideas they want.
