Can the team enhance the table/ matrix export feature to export them as they were formatted in the desktop?
Format as in row and column headers stay as it is, with the table background color etc. Currently the exported data is raw format.

Please check out our updated options for exporting a matrix. The layout is now preserved. Exporting cell color/background formatting still needs to be implemented

You can export to excel as is from your power bi report using Inforiver. Check out this video for more details.

There's already over 5,000 votes in favor of this same topic on another thread that is essentially asking for the same thing. We need to consolidate our votes on this topic, although 5,000 votes apparently hasn't swayed Microsoft to do this already, so maybe it simply doesn't matter. Regardless, here is the link to the other thread: https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=b33fc4b3-9dae-4356-973d-d5ffe635ce15

Can community handlers answer if this feature going to be launched anytime soon?
RE: Export Table and Matrix As Is
When will it be available? Because users has to again create pivot out of the data which they downloaded to bring it in the format shown in matrix visual. Also it would be good if it can retain conditional formatting like color, icon.
RE: Export Table and Matrix As Is
Tableau Desktop can do this.Power BI should realize this request.
RE: Export Table and Matrix As Is
This is very extremely needed. Most user would like to have >> able to export whatever they see. This request has been started since last year, Please make it happen.
RE: Export Table and Matrix As Is
This is still not available

critical. I can not persuade users to continue using Power BI if they have to redo the same work on Excel export again. When on the very first hand they were initially using excel for these layouts.

Microsoft products should work together seamlessly, by not transferring format, the software seems to be incomplete
