Calculated measures when live connected to MDX cubes

In May 2017 Power BI Desktop started supporting creation of DAX measures when working in live connect mode to an external SSAS model: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-may-feature-summary/

Vote on this idea if you want support for calculated measures against multidimensional models too.

This is definitely a must have feature!! We really need to have this for our reporting

With this feature not yet updated to Power BI, unable to use the application at its best.

Unable to work on dashboards with such restrictions of not being able to write a dax against the live cube.

Very much disappointed.

FRUSTRATING if anyone from Power BI team reading these comments!!!!

Without that we cannot:
1- deal with (Blank) on cards
2- Show selected filters in text box
3- Query from more than one data source
4- Grouping
and so many other things that other developers trying to do.

We cannot move to Tabular model Until a TRUE MANY-TO-MANY table configuration is possible or to have MULTIPLE RELATION between fact tables and Date table implemented.

Cannot use hack to do one or another.
Microsoft should consolidate all these feature before promoting new features.
