We need to be able to control what shows up in the Map Labels when you hover over a location in both maps and filled map. Ability to show / hide fields is a must - for example the end user may not care or even get confused by seeing the Latitude and Longitude of a location. We need to also be able to display another visualization in the map label like a table or matrix with the relevant data for the location the user is hovering over with the mouse. Please see http://www.nytimes.com/elections/2016/national-results-map - perfect example - when you hover over a county you get a table with fields - we need something like this!

I agree....Why is this still even under consideration?? This should be a simple fix!

Please consider adding this label option to the map bubbles also. Or integrating pin options like Bing Maps some of which include the label option.

Second the suggestions below, need to show custom labels and ability to remove lat / long from the label.

Yes, very annoying - I cant get the right combo of labels to display when hovering or displaying etc....I can see the category which is pointless, but when I add my location value, despite having long & lat etc, the visual disappears. please add in...

The Long/Lat values are worthless and confusing to my customers. They only need to see the values that matter to them.
