How sexy the data looks is sometimes more important than how accurate it is!
I love a light grey/dark grey colour scheme as much as the next person, but it be great to be able to brand the dashboard with the organisation colours/background watermark/logos etc. Maybe offer an option to modify the default CSS used - similar to how blogging sites like blogger allow you to change your page layouts/colours with a simple admin gui or completely change it by rewriting the CSS

Please allow fur custom colour themes (both personal by each user, and system-wise set by the organisation). Also please allow organisation to change the default colour scheme.

Attention Will Thompson, it's not hard to notice that your "Under Review" was posted way back on Jan 22, 2015 and today is September 17, 2017 = 9 full months! In between, Power BI.com has officially launched on July 24, 2015 and can we please have an "update" on this whole "colors and theming" request?

Yes please! I was coming here to submit a suggestion for an 'art board' style setup for dashboards as in photoshop, but CSS might be easier to incorporate and more powerful for users.

Agree. It seems a bit funny that we can change the background color in a report but it is not reflected in the dashboard

Can you please update this critical functionality as it is now September 8, 2015 and the "under review" is from January 22, 2015 - unless that is wrong?

Definitely it's very good idea and it should be applied on Dashboard and Reports
