The primary axis are outdated and require significant improvement when compared to Excel. This makes it difficult for report creators and often leads to problems when trying to manage and style them effectively. By offering more format settings, greater control over displayed data can be provided, especially if axis ticks, new gridlines, and separators are also included.

RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
Over two years later and it's still not an option. Please enable this, it's a standard feature...
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
I was surprised to see that there is no configuration option to change interval of chart axis. Both the axes should have option to chnage interval as well show actual data as interval markers instead of calculated linear value. For example I have sine wave where 0, 30, 60 ,90 etc are intervals from actual data but power BI shows axia as 0, 50, 100 etc. So pretty useless to me.
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
It would be better if we can choose y axis interval to provide better interface.
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
When we'll have it ??
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
'+1
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
It is very necessary!
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
Why not even this simple feature is not available in Power BI
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
Need this option
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
This is an important feature as enumeration of the axis allows for better understanding of the granularity of the data. One would think this would already be a function of PBI.
RE: Epic idea: Advanced primary axis
This would be useful for cases where the data points very close, within 10^-10 of each other, but the auto axis spreads the data out to fit the entire plot. It gives the illusion that the data is very spread out when it's all really close.
