Agree,this is still an issue when ownership changes on Cases and it would be great to have this as an OOTB function so that users can sort timelines by "Created On" date.

check the purchase order processing setup - there are two options for PO Document Date - Previous Doc Date and User Date. you may need to change it to User Date.

it would also be helpfull to be able to set the sequence on level of product variants! i think this feature is very necessary for BOM items especially as D365 does not offer any support in minimizing changeover times.

This is common requirement, as this is a valid strategy when the staging RM for many customers, especially when the staging area is large with many locations

It is required for all EU localizations. I know local partners can deliver it but we have legal entities in many coutries and impossible to have every country served in different way. It is legal requirement and very common for all EU countries that is why in my opinion it should be delivered as standard in D365.
