RE:
It is not just about flagging a project as internal and not requiring the customer information to be filled in. This also relates to the possibility to have project templates (with different number series based on the typology of projects). We could also have "Time" projects to be used only on time-sheets to track non-productive hours but still use the project number as a single point of entry.Usually for those projects thre is no planning or budget and therefore the WBS is not necessayr. It could be a task initiated by default to improve the user experience. And last but not least is "Investment" projects for which we don't necessarly know the customer and the invoicing will not be done through the project module, it is only record costs that can be capitalized easily and then transfer to one or multiple fixed assets. All those options exist on project operations but there is absolutely nothing in BC. Many add-ons exist but the standard module is too weak.

I'm guessing this has yet to be released? The status is still "Planned: 2024 Release Wave"

In OBM, I use the "Query View" in almost every static segment I make. A lot of our target lists come from excel files, so I build out the query in excel & paste it into the query view. This means, the segment is not something I can easily query with a couple of CRM filters. Not having this functionality (or anything close as far as I can tell), has been quite frustrating.

This is a very good idea. If I were president, I would have implemented this idea a long time ago.
RE:
Document Creator from Apportunix has an solution for this in their lay-outs.
RE:
And it could be an idea to combine it with the BOM Structure functionality. Just like it is on the Item Card.
RE:
Agree, I would be good if this feature can be given some consideration
